Online emulator.

There is a nice online emulator of the G1 on the T-mobile site. If you are curious how the new phone will work, and how the menu is structured, it's worth the visit. Here's the link.

At the moment we are working hard to getting some more content on our site. It is our plan to become the number 1 resource page on the Internet for all things related to the android platform. But for this we need your help!!
If you are interested in writing reviews on a phone you recently bought that's running on android, don't hesitate and send us a line. Any other feedback is of course also welcome. You can contact us here.

Pre-order bonanza!

Google has made sure that her first device to hit the market is a product armed to the teeth. And for good reason, they will need to make a good first blow to secure a market share next to giants like The iphone and Microsoft mobile. The reports from T-mobile that the first 1,5 million phones have been sold in the pre-order phase is a good sign. It seems that a lot of people are willing to spend money on android without ever having seen the phone. A clear dander of course is that google needs to deliver on all this hype. We here at android-phone feel they will make a solid first impression, but being a true contender to the iphone is some years away. One huge bonus for everyone thou is the fact that even as we speak, companies like apple are already changing much of there stance towards opening it's platforms for 3rd party software. In the end, regardless on the android platform's ability to grow in to a serious contender. It will still have won!
